Canada is set to host the World Archery Youth Championships (WAYC), marking a significant milestone as the second time Canada will have hosted a target archery World Championships. This prestigious event sanctioned by World Archery, will bring together over 500 talented young archers from over 60 countries. WAYC includes two age categories, Under 18 and Under 21, for two bow styles: recurve and compound.
Countries can send up to 3 male and 3 female archers in each age category for each bow style, for a maximum of 24 archers. The athletes will compete in individual, team, and mixed team competitions
Registration is now open on WAREOS for member associations. No individual athletes may register for this event. All participants are registered by their respective national archery federations. Queries about eligibility should be directed to your country’s governing body for archery.
